The Ultimate Vacation Experience for Adventure Seekers
Are you tired of having to spend every facation visiting your family? Are you sick of hanging out on the couch and staring at a television set with your parents because choosing something else would have made you feel bad? It can be hard to get over those guilty feelings. At the same time, why should you get to take a vacation you enjoy once in a while? Why not decide to have a real adventure the next time you have some free time? Heck you could probably fit in a weekend adventure trek and still have time to sit on your parents' couch and look through old photo albums. Here are some adventure travels that you might enjoy.
If you get joy from the outdoors and like to use your survival skills for living off the land, why not go on an Australian Walkabout? These have become noteworthy adventures, especially after one of the main actors on the television show Lost tried to go on one. The idea behind an Australian Walkabout is that you and your fellow adventurers head out into the Australian Outback with a guide. When you get out on a walkabout, you are only living off the land. You hunt for your own food, build your own shelter from what is available and take on any "elements" that might come your way (weather, animals, etc). It is like extreme camping and can make you feel really good.
Shark Diving isn't exactly light hearted but it is very exciting! The Shark Diver Company sells package deals that take you to the sharks of Mexico and California. A word of warning: adventure travels like these cost quite a bit of money. These trips typically cost about three thousand dollars per person. Most of these trips take at least five days. Before you go on the trip, make sure you have obtained your diving certification. You wouldn't want to have to sit up on the boat the whole time!
Go on a Llama Trek! Everybody has gone horseback riding. If you want a great adventure travel without having to leave the United States, try the Hurricane Creek Llama Treks in Oregon. During these treks, you camp outdoors and you are responsible for bringing your own equipment (and setting it up/taking it down) and packing and unpacking your llama bags. These types of adventure travels are great because they let you choose--you can either ride your llama or walk the trails yourself and lead the llama with you. How many other times in your life will you be able to ride llamas? How about a beach? Maybe the tropical weather will do you great! Boracay Hotels is a must if you want to have a wonderful time and enjoy a vacation.
Adventure travels don't have to be super expensive (though they can run a little high sometimes). They do not have to be lengthy vacations. Some only last a couple of days! Why would you choose to spend all of your vacation time sitting around feeling bored when you could spend it outside having adventures? Because the options for adventure travels are so wide the hardest part for you is going to be deciding where you want to go and what you want to do when you get there. Have fun!
